Maps from BRA

The maps are HUGE. The only ones that are Roxbury individually are the 3D models. The footprints and sidewalks are the entire city. I am downloading now so bear with me.
Thanks,
Kris

Ring Dome

Milan Ring Dome by Korean architect Minsuk Cho. More Hula Hoops, this time with a double structure.

Precedent II

Below are a few images of the second project which I've chosen to compliment/contrast my first precedent project choice.  The project is called "Inversion" and is a part of the Art League of Houston.  The project, constructed by two local sculptures, simulates a vortex and draws in visitors from a wide opening on the exterior which funnels into a tight hole on the inside.  The entire structure is constructed with reused 2x4's, strategically placed to have the random-like appearance.  The existing house which the sculpture is attached to acts as a public facility for arts education for the Art League of Houston.

Qui Est "In" Qui Est "Out"

Qui Est "In" Qui Est "Out" by Yes we can Architecture was an installation in the hotel d' Aures in Montpellier. The temporary structure was built with a budget of 900 euros. 300 bright green hula hoops connected with plastic clips imposing its contrasting organic shape inside an 18th century courtyard.

The hula hoop is the smallest entity which defines a boundary between an inside and an outside, but since hundreds of hula hoops are bound and accumulated together this boundary becomes blurred.
